Cleft Lip Rhinoplasty

Cleft Lip Rhinoplasty: Restoring Balance, Symmetry, and Nasal Support

Cleft lip patients often develop a characteristic nasal deformity: asymmetry of the tip, collapse of the alar base, septal deviation, and loss of support on the cleft side. Cleft rhinoplasty requires true structural reconstruction to achieve lasting and real cosmetic change.

My Approach

I focus on rebuilding the structural foundations:

  • Repositioning and reshaping the lower lateral cartilages

  • Septal extension grafting to regain projection and symmetry

  • Alar base repositioning

  • Straightening the septum and restoring airflow

  • Premaxillary grafting when needed.

  • Cartilage grafting to correct collapse and imbalance. RIB CARTILAGE IS LIKELY NEEDED.

Goals of Surgery

  • Balanced symmetry between both sides of the nose

  • Strong, long-lasting support

  • Improved breathing

  • Natural tip shape and definition

Cleft rhinoplasty is one of the most rewarding surgeries — when structure is restored, harmony follows.
